Diagnosis

Eyes large, DE/DO = 4.0; mesoscutum metallic dark blue with purple tinges, entirely with engraved and rather strong reticulation; scutellum metallic dark purple. Similar to discus but propodeum with median carina with parallel sides and first gastral tergite with a strong reticulate band close to posterior margin. See also arboristus.
